A letter to the authorities in Dublin requesting the assistance of the sheriff in carrying out evictions on the Mahon estate. Major Mahon's daughter Grace Catherine and her husband, Henry Sandford Pakenham took on John Ross Mahon's estate clearnace plan wholeheartedly, focussing attention on those townlands associated with the murder.
