Description:

A portrait of Captain Edward Charles Stafford-King-Harman made by the London Stereoscopic Company of Hanover Square West. The portrait was most likely taken before the sitter was deployed in 1914. Strafford-King-Harman wears his  Irish Guards uniform. The Irish Guards were heavily involved in the first battle of Ypres where Strafford-King-Harman was killed on the 6 November 1914.
