Lettice Mary Stafford-King-Harman

c. 1917

Lettice's parents were married on the 4 July 1914. Her father, Edward Charles Stafford-King-Harman was killed in action four months later at Ypres in Belgium. Olive Pakenham Mahon gave birth to Lettice five months after his death. Beacuse Lettice was female and the Rockingham estate was entail male (could only be inherited by a male heir) Olive and Lettice left Rockingham and returned home to Strokestown.
